Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding arose in the late 1980’s after the advent of snowboarding and was developed through a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques, the rider is towed behind the boat typically at speeds of 18-24 mph, using edging techniques, the rider can move outside the wake or cut in toward the wake. Jumps are performed by hitting the wake and launching in to the air, like waterskiing beginners can start with a land lesson before progressing on to a training bar at the side of the boat which makes it easy to get out of the water for the first time. Snowboarders and skateboarders find this sport a natural progression.
Itinerary
On arrival we will kit you up with a wetsuit and buoyancy aid before you have a land lesson with your instructor, then its off to the water for your first 15 minute lesson, for beginners we use a training boom beside the boat before progressing on to the rope. We suggest that you have a min 45 minute break between each lesson, time on site 3-4 hours
